Hi everyone,
I am very happy that you like my previous tutorial about the checkpoint I made.
Today the only thing I will show you is some kits I got for my British Artillery battery that I am planning to make.
I have bought three kits from Airfix (Matador & 5.5' guns) and one kit from Hat (WW1 British Artillery crew). I chose the latter, since there are no any other alternatives in the market at the time being. I need to do some conversions on the figures (on their trousers to be exact), but I think that in the end I'll sort it out.
So, for the time being, just stay tuned for the next post with some progress on these kits.
Have a nice evening!
T.
the extra heads with the Hat set are nice also

You've got your work cut out for you. But you can handle it well! Have fun.
ReplyDeleteIt's great when goodies turn up in the post!
ReplyDeleteActually thats a good idea, I have those WWI figs, may do the same thing in the future, looking forward to your progress.
ReplyDeleteNice to see you took my idea of the WW1 crew. Now I can see what they will look like when an expert paints them.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fun haul!

ReplyDeleteNice purchases T. The arty crews should be interesting.
ReplyDeleteI have the same figures waiting in a box for me do do something with them. Hope you're quicker than me at getting them painted up and onto the table. Looking forward to the results Thanos.
ReplyDeleteAirfix Magazine had some conversions from various sets for an 8th Army 5.5" crew. There was also an article on detailing the gun itself. I can send you scans if you want.
ReplyDeleteThose Matador sets of Airfix are great! Brings back childhood memories!
ReplyDeleteGreetings
Peter
