Hi everyone!
Bit of a busy weekend this last one was (I had to go to a concert in the northern part of Greece - my girlfriend was singing, so you get the idea...), but I managed to finish a big lot of figs and vehicles and guns.
If you have visited my blog recently, you probably have noticed that I received some Crusader Gun Tractor models, made from Rapid Fire Miniatures (Ready to Roll models). Some days ago I also received some 17 pdr guns from Britannia Miniatures and Skytrex Models. And last but not least, I got some figures to accompany them, purchased from AB figures (the best in the market IMO).
A few nights of cleaning, washing, priming, painting, basing and varnishing and this is what I got in the end:
And after:
And after the painstaking procedure of modelling them:
Finally, the whole lot. I hope you like it! :-)
Its been a busy couple of days, to be honest, but, in the end I managed to give my self a smile. :-)
Panzers, beware!
Have a great night everyone!
T.
My word you have been busy and such fabulous results - top work Thanos.

DeleteYes, a tremendous amount of very fine work. The results are great...super nice models, Thanos.
ReplyDeleteThey are great models Jay. All I tried to do was to give them what they (IMO) deserved. :) Thank you

I have the best realtionship with Morfeus, however, I don't get the chance to see it often. :) Thank you Peter!
DeleteA girlfriend who sings, a lucky man you are! Top notch work here, on everything! I really like it when you show us all these less mainstream model companies, gives me some nice references for my future buys!
ReplyDeleteKeep it up!

She is a virtuous girl to be honest. I wonder if she's real...sometimes. :)
DeleteIt's amazing what you can find in the internet regarding our hobby. Whenever I can, I will give you details for what I find. :) Thank you for your kind words.
You were a busy bee Thanos-these look marvelous. How long before the girlfriend becomes the Missus my friend?
ReplyDeleteΒee is what my friends call me. I never sit still, always have sth to do...:) You found my major drawback! :)
DeleteAs about the Missus, I hope to make the leap soon. If it wasn't this god damn recession, I'd be married already. :) I have to show some patience (and her as well). :)
Superb, and uncommon pieces, congratulations.
ReplyDeleteThanks Pablo! :)
DeleteFantastic work T. A great choice of figures, vehicles & guns- your Wessex Division is shaping up really well.
ReplyDeleteWhich Brigade of Wessex Division do you think they would be from?
Have you read Delaforce's book on the "Fighting Wessex Wyverns"?- you should be able to pick up cheap reading copy from ABE Books.
Thank you John. I am afraid I don't have a clue of their 'origin'. I found the book (a bit pricey). That's what I am going to ask as a birthday present! :) Thank you!
DeleteCool work, you are a master by creating from just a block of resin such a cool vehicles!
ReplyDeleteRealy like it all...
