My photo
Being a modeller for quite a few years now, I decided to explore the endless possibilities that the world (through internet) offers, and come up with a series of ways of building, modelling and painting fast (but not hastily), to create the worlds I was seeing in history books since I was little. . .If you care to join me. . . This is the place to be! And, I promise you to find the way (or ways)!!

A good garden may have some weeds. . .

Good day everyone!

After relaxing my self with figure painting this past few weeks (I will show you my finished ones on the forthcoming posts - hopefully with some decent photos...), I decided to go back to my favourite subject - Terrain Building!!Σύνδεσμος
Some months ago I bought some OO' Gauge Dapol Kits, including Dapol's CO11 'Hut, coal office & water crane', which has as you may see from the pics 2 small houses that can be used for many projetcs, besides train modelling.
I decided to use them complementary to two small fields (with ongrowing vegetation on them - pls don't ask me what grows over there, the post's title can help you find out quite easily!), that I made for my ongrowing (same word..hm....) Normandy Project.

They were made with 2 pieces of vinyl tiles, PVA glue+Sand (dirt), Turf, Static Grass, Clump Foliage and 2 small trees.

I hope you like them!

T.

  2. Great stuff - very realistic but still very playable, a combination that can sometimes be difficult to achieve!

@Paul: Don't forget that I am not married yet! I have to do the ironing, the cooking, the cleaning and the painting of my models...(well I would keep the final bit, even if I got married)...:-)

  11. Great!!! I love the macro shots. How much bigger will it get though? Will there eventually be a coast line..a mountain range?...and then?. You will have to cover the whole world :-D
I have a problem with my medieval village...it isn´t as big an area as your town, but how shall I put a border to it?? If I make some fields, then a forest, and then and then...PANIC!! :-D
    Cheers

PS;..the skin colour for the indian
    1.Black base colour
2.middlebrown with a bit of red
    3.middle brown highlighting
4.middle brown with the smallet bit of yellow and blue.
The colours I use have no names like "slime green" or "orc blood black":-D just normal colours like red, yellow etc and I mix to get the colour.
