Good week everyone.
Its been a long week this past one, but, I must say that I painted much. I didn't have the time to surf the web a lot, and instead I tried to use my spare time in order to paint some more.
Below you will find some photos of three 2'' mortar bases, coming from Revell's British Infantry kit (#02523). They are a bit off the 20mm scale (bigger than usual), but this kit provides some good figures for various purposes, such as the 2'' mortars that were an indispensable asset to every British Infantry platoon. Their main job was to throw smoke for covering the advancing Tommies, but they could also bring some explosive charges on their adversaries' heads. :-)
The target was dictated by the men with the radio, processing the info from the recce observers.
I hope you like them.
Have a good night everyone.
P.S: Hopefully, my next post will display some work of mine related to German forces in the Normandy area - just for a change. So, until next time: stay tuned!
