Being a modeller for quite a few years now, I decided to explore the endless possibilities that the world (through internet) offers, and come up with a series of ways of building, modelling and painting fast (but not hastily), to create the worlds I was seeing in history books since I was little. . .If you care to join me. . . This is the place to be! And, I promise you to find the way (or ways)!!

Last weekend's work...

Good day to you all!

Last weekend was a rather busy weekend, in ''social'' terms, so I only managed to paint 8 figures (6 Germans - 2 Russians) for some ''urban'' fighting (grey bases).

I hope you like them!

  2. That DP machine gun looks strange. I guess you're supposed to prop it up with a sandbag though.

  3. Nice work as usual Thanos, do you use a black wash or ink to get the shading on the Germans?

  5. Χαρα στο κουραγιο σου αγαπητε να κανεις ξεχωριστες βασεις... Βρηκες γυναικα? Congrats on really well painted Germans (and Russians, but pulling off the long coat look without making the figure look dull is particularly difficult).

@R.gers: I made the DP machine gun this way, just to have the option to ''use'' it behind any form of cover.
@Al:Thx! I use a water based wood preservative for the shading. My next post will have a couple of pics of the products I use.
@The Angry Lurker: Fran, for the Russians base colour I use FOW War Spray - German Armour (Late) - looks like Dunkelgelb.
@Greek Geek: Έχω πολλά νομίσματα και δεν ξέρω τι να τα κάνω φίλε...μεταξύ των άλλων προέκυψε και η όρεξη για ευνόητους λόγους.. ;-)
