Being a modeller for quite a few years now, I decided to explore the endless possibilities that the world (through internet) offers, and come up with a series of ways of building, modelling and painting fast (but not hastily), to create the worlds I was seeing in history books since I was little. . .If you care to join me. . . This is the place to be! And, I promise you to find the way (or ways)!!

Italeri's #6133 US Infantry (Winter Uniform)

Good day everyone!

These past few days, while waiting for the winter to come, I've been painting some G'Is from Italeri's Set #6133 US Infantry (Winter Uniform) - (Plastic Soldier's review), based on some baking soda coins! :-)

The detail of the figs of this set is of the usual Italeri's standards (meaning vey high) and the stature of these is very realistic. If you want to represent some late war battles (not only in snow terrain) with some ''away from home'' G.I's, I should recommend of buying this kit.

I hope you like them!

  4. These make a great set of figures, with an interesting range of poses and equipment. I particularly like the BAR gunner tapping his magazine on his helmet! The basing works very well, I like that you've got the 'snow' clinging to their lower legs as well, it makes it even more convincing.
