Being a modeller for quite a few years now, I decided to explore the endless possibilities that the world (through internet) offers, and come up with a series of ways of building, modelling and painting fast (but not hastily), to create the worlds I was seeing in history books since I was little. . .If you care to join me. . . This is the place to be! And, I promise you to find the way (or ways)!!

ZVEZDA - German antitank gun PAK 36 with crew

Good day everyone!

Last weekend I bought a Zvezda kit ( German antitank gun PAK 36 with crew ), and paint it for some urban warfare.
The gun as well as the figures were assembled really easily. The details of both were of the usual Zvezda standards (aka fantastic).
The only disadvantage of this kit, is that the gun crew is consisted of two figures only, whereas the reality was almost 6 men per gun...oh well , I don't want to grumble! :-)
For its price (3 euro/kit), it surely does its work! Go and buy it! :-)

I hope you like it!

  3. Good looking kit and figs, I'm still trying to work out if Zvezda WWII figures are good value, they are nice but when you work out the cost per figure they should be made of gold, they are the same price as metal figures, I'd rather buy ABs.

  5. Can't argue with that. I've been looking at the 1/100 scale stuff and wondering if it'd be a cheap way to make an Early War Panzer company for Flames of War. Might have to grab a few packs since you say they're so godo.

  6. Looks good and should be a useful addition. Pity about the small crew, but should be easy enough to fill in from other sets perhaps?

I picked up a couple of Italieri PAK40s the other day, looks like it's open season on tanks!

  8. @R.gers: thx mate!
@Angry Lurker: thank you Fran, it is a good model indeed.
@Dan: Thx! They aren't made of gold, but they are of golden value nevertheless! I am a bit reluctant with buying metal figures (I think they are a bit chunky in addition to my plastic ones).
@Paul: Thx Paul. I am trying to find my steps this period, I only hope to solve some of my personal issues first - time consuming procedure!!! :-)
@Rpdger: Thank you for your kind words mate!
@Arquinsiel: I am afraid I haven't seen the 1/100 equivalents, but based from my experience in 1/72 scale, Zvezda does produce magnificent models!
@Ethics Gradient: Thank you Alan! I reckon that I could use figs from other sets as well (probably from Pegasus - German mortars)
@Anibal Invictus: It is a good set mate - go and buy it! :-)
