My photo
Being a modeller for quite a few years now, I decided to explore the endless possibilities that the world (through internet) offers, and come up with a series of ways of building, modelling and painting fast (but not hastily), to create the worlds I was seeing in history books since I was little. . .If you care to join me. . . This is the place to be! And, I promise you to find the way (or ways)!!

W.I.P. - Some plastic and some toothpicks

Hi everyone,

Hope you are all well. This is a W.I.P post, at least in terms of the materials that I am going to use as will see in the photos below. I’ve done some progress last night, but they are not yet finished.

I had an idea stuck in my mind and due to that (you can’t say No to the Muse – Homer knows it better), I took  some plastic figures from Hat’s British Mortar teams (#8227) and some figures from Airfix’s WW2British Infantry (#1763) (unfortunately they are not included in the photos below – I decided to add them in the last minute, after taking the photos) – all prone figures. They needed something to play with,  and for this reason I came to think that I needed  something round and long (and no, it wasn’t what just crossed your filthy minds…), so I ended up with some wooden toothpicks. They are a bit wider in width compared to what I had in mind, but, you gotta use what’s available at the time. :-)

So, by looking at the photos above, what do you think I am going to make?? Any ideas?

Have a good night boys and girls.

Armourfast #99017 - Sherman Firefly

Hi everyone,

Hope you are all well.
Last weekend I finished two Sherman Fireflies made by Armourfast (#99017).

They were rather easy to build (15 minutes app. per model). A good deal for a wannabe wargamer (as myself). :-)
They are destined to accompany my platoons of 43rd Wessex Division.
They are finished in terms of painting, but, some days ago I ordered some Sherman accessories from SGT's Mess Webstore (GM15 Spare Sherman tracks and wheels) in order to 'enrich' them a bit more. When they'll come, I'll show you how these parts fit on these models.

I hope you like them!
Any C&C are more than welcome.
Cheers everyone!

W.I.P Armourfast 99017 - Sherman Firefly

Hi everyone!

A wicked week this one (in my job), so today I'm only showing a photo of a new pair of Sherman Fireflies I got on Tuesday. They are the Armourfast's models, which are combining two positive aspects of my projects: They are fast-build and they are budget friendly! :-)

Right now, I am about to finish them, but I don't have any photos available. You will have to wait my dear friends. :-)

Have a good Thursday night, and don't forget: it's Friday tomorrow!!! Hip hip..... :-)
