HaT Set 8260 WWI German Field Wagon

Hi everyone.

it’s been some months now, that I trying to obtain Hat’s #8261 WWI German Field Wagon. Due to various reasons, I couldn’t get my hands on this kit. Last week my local hobbystore brought it’s little cousin, Hat’s #8260 WWI German Field Wagon. In terms of accuracy, the latter wasn’t the best option, but ok, let’s be honest here: could somebody brag about historical accuracy issues for field wagons? Was there an industry behind their manufacture??? Just kidding.

In any case, I bought this kit and I used the first of its three models that are included, as a small terrain piece which can be either a road obstacle, or as a complementary piece in a rural setup.

AB German Officers

Hi everyone!

Hope you are all well. These last couple of days, I have been working on some AB Figures I had acquired some months ago. I wasn't in the mood in painting them, but in the ennd my OCD behaviour took the lead, and made me fulfill my task.

German 15cm Nebelwerfer

Good afternoon everyone!

Hope you are all well.

September has arrived and I am trying to get back on track, again.

I have been quite busy these past few days, and today I am going to show you my latest work.

I have recently acquired two Nebelwerfer models (metal) - you know, the moaning ‘’minnies’’,  from Britannia Miniatures, as you see in the photos below.

The models were not expensive (3 GBP/model) and they were very easy to assemble.

A sequence of photos from start to finish follows. Gluing, basing, painting and playing (in the end of this post you’ll see what I mean by ‘playing’...).

The bases were made from vinyl tiles and the rest of the stuff around the models were from Sgt’s Mess (Small boxes and German Water cans) and from SHQ (15cm Nebelwerfer rockets - VP10).

Since the Nebelwerfers come without escorts, I used some spare figures I had from PSC Late War German Infantry Heavy Weapons kit.

My name is not Thomas by the way... :-)

Last but not least, I have prepared for you a small video, showing what this little bugger did in reality.
