Hi everyone,
Hope you are all
well. This is a W.I.P post, at least in terms of the materials that I am going
to use as will see in the photos below. I’ve done some progress last night, but
they are not yet finished.
I had an idea
stuck in my mind and due to that (you can’t say No to the Muse – Homer knows it
better), I took some plastic figures
from Hat’s British Mortar teams (#8227) and some figures from Airfix’s WW2British Infantry (#1763) (unfortunately they are not included in the photos
below – I decided to add them in the last minute, after taking the photos) –
all prone figures. They needed something to play with, and for this reason I came to think that I
needed something round and long (and no,
it wasn’t what just crossed your filthy minds…), so I ended up with some wooden
toothpicks. They are a bit wider in width compared to what I had in mind, but,
you gotta use what’s available at the time. :-)
So, by looking
at the photos above, what do you think I am going to make?? Any ideas?
Have a good
night boys and girls.
T.
Maybe some kind of training camp or barracks. The toothpicks are used like pile and some wire attached to them. The plastic figures will look like crowing under the wire. Am I right?
ReplyDeleteinteresting, why do you assume we all have filthy minds?
ReplyDeleteDuh...I drew a card and it was blank.
ReplyDeleteWire cutting teams, demolition teams?
ReplyDeleteif they weren't Commonwealth troops, I guess say Bangalore torpedo
ReplyDeleteI was thinking Bangalore but my historical fu is weak.
ReplyDeleteAre you making mortars? I've made mortars with toothpicks before, sometimes a fiddly task, but they should come out nicely.
ReplyDeleteLet's see what those toothpicks shall make!
FF
I was also going to guess bangalore torpedoes.
ReplyDeleteYour gonna make something out of wood...I win
ReplyDeleteWell I gotta go with Bangalores like most of the others??
ReplyDeletefirewood?
ReplyDeleteI too am thought bangalores!! But let me go with a field hospital.
ReplyDeleteNot what they seem, but a transformation is well done
