W.I.P Armourfast 99017 - Sherman Firefly

Hi everyone!

A wicked week this one (in my job), so today I'm only showing a photo of a new pair of Sherman Fireflies I got on Tuesday. They are the Armourfast's models, which are combining two positive aspects of my projects: They are fast-build and they are budget friendly! :-)

Right now, I am about to finish them, but I don't have any photos available. You will have to wait my dear friends. :-)

    Really curious on seeing how these will turn out, since every modeller has his/her own way of painting/building.

    To me, affordable is a #1 priority at the time being, since I am not the richest man at the moment. I'll have to check these out someday, when I will seriously start my british army. Someday...

    good kit. I often look at armourfast models, though not me era they are good models and cheap... I might see if they make some Js-2's or 3's as they can be converted into later soviet heavy tanks

    Have fun with these. They're a basic but pretty nice build (only problem I had was the barrel, which takes a bit of fidling with) and paint up well. I think they do benefit from a bit of detailing with some stowage or spares thought (which I keep meaning to do for mine).
