HAT #8256 - WWI British Artillery Crew - lost in time!

Hi everyone!

After a very very busy day in the office and since I didn't have the chance to see SWMBO, I decided to relax by uploading some photos of my last weekend's work. :-)

You that follow my recent work, must have seen that I bought some new figs and kits recently. The figs I got were Hat's #8256 WWI British Artillery Crew (see review in PSR here). Destined to serve weapons in the Great War, I decided to transfer them through a time journey to my 43rd Wessex Division forces, that fought their war during 1939-1945 (I ask from my friends to correct me about the service period of this unit - I've been working for the last 14 hours, so please show some tolerance)!

I took my scalpel and some PVA glue, and made some long trousers for these poor sods! In terms of accuracy and outcome, perhaps I could do better, but I am not very good in conversion works...I hope you find them 'adequate' for the task. 20 of them, a tedious task, but I coped. :-)

On with the photos then:

I hope you like 'em! :-)
T.

  1. Thanos this is a cracking piece of work. And to do this on twenty figures. You should be very proud of these!

  3. Yo might not think the conversion work is very good, but I think it's marvelous. Best of all, you've had the guts to give it a go, which most gamers won't.

    Great stuff!
