Hi everyone,
In this post I’ve uploaded some photos of my
newly painted British figures. They are destined to be the Bren Light machine
guns support teams for my 43rd Wessex ‘Wyverns’ Division. The
figures are a mix of Revell British Infantry (#2523), PSC (WW2020002) and HAT(#8227 –Mortar teams). I know I made 4 teams of the same thing, but you never
know how many you will need in the end! :-)
I really like the following photo. It's perhaps one of the best I've ever taken for my little men. :-)
If you want to see more photos of the terrain
pieces that stand in the back of the figures, you could see this post.
I hope you like them!
Any C&C are more than welcome.
T.
Nice miniatures and pictures! Well done!
ReplyDeleteThank you Sir! :)
DeleteDamn good work Thanos, you can never have enough LMG's!
ReplyDeleteI agree with that! Thanks Fran!
DeleteVery good looking chaps and nice photos!
ReplyDeleteThank you Andrew
DeleteI loved your work friend. And the scenery .... great!!!
ReplyDeleteThank sir Kostas. Κάνω ό,τι μπορώ. :)
DeleteVery nicely done; great work Thanos.
ReplyDeleteThank you kind sir. :)
DeleteAnother impressive work from you Thanos. And you're right, that pic from the men's perspective is one of your best. I do think that there's a film maker hiding inside you somewhere!
ReplyDeleteYou found my secret Anne...a woman's mind, from which you cannot hide.. :-)
DeleteReally good work, Thanos. You did a fine job with the divisional and regimental shoulderflashes (always a nice way to add colour to Brit/Com uniforms) and it's good and accurate to see a Bren gun team rather than a single guy plonking away. Some good photgraphy there.
ReplyDeleteBravo zulu, that man!
Cheers, Mike
Thank you Mike. I am trying to be as consistent as possible.
DeleteAwesome LMG teams, Thanos. Perfect for "stitching" German uniforms!
ReplyDeleteYep, that's the plan Jay! :)
DeleteWonderful, the bren is a great gun. In fact New Zealand made their own version, the Charlton Automatic Rifle, with the magazine underneath... it was a great gun and 1500 were made! but, nearly all were destroyed when the factory in Palmeston North burnt down. Only in New Zealand
ReplyDeleteThanks Gowan. We used to have these beauties in the Greek army as well during 40s and 50s. :)
DeleteExcellent work!
ReplyDeleteThanks Dan!
DeleteHi T, I can only second all the above. Well done A+
ReplyDeleteGreg, you're the best man! Thank you :)
DeleteTop job T - the 43rd Division keeps on growing.
ReplyDeleteYes it does John. Plenty of ongoing projects in my mind...
DeleteLovely job all around Thanos. I am rather partial to the Revell version myself.
ReplyDeleteThank you Paul. It's a good set (Revell's), but the guys are quite big in comparison with other little men..
DeleteThese guys look fantastic Thanos. Excellent photography too!!

DeleteThank you Rodger, put in the phone's camera. The credit should go there. :)
DeleteYou can never have too many Bren guns! I like how you've used the HaT 2" mortar guy as an extra loader.
ReplyDeleteGreat photography, I agree about the black and white image, the prone poses really look like they're keeping their heads down!
I am intrigued by the idea of adding some extra effects on the photos, like explosions, muzzle fires etc..We'll see. Thank you Alan!
DeleteExcellent painted and based figures! I love the black and white pictures!
ReplyDeleteGreetings
Peter

Thank you Peter. :)
DeleteHi Thanos, great figs, not sure I like the 2 bases on the one figure though.
ReplyDeleteThanks Dan. It's the first idea that came into my mind, that's why I used them. I am experimenting with them a bit. See how it goes. Another approach is always an option. :)
DeleteGreat mix of figures Thanos
ReplyDeleteThank you Al! :)
