Normandy on the move!

Good day to everyone!

Today I decided to show you (yes again, I know that it becomes tiring), two new houses I made for my Normandy project.

Since my budget is tight at the moment (I had to buy new curtains for my apartment. . .), I continue to scratch built some Normandy houses, hoping that eventually I will have enough for my project.

Enjoy! (Or at least pretend you do)!! :-)

  3. They look very good! Are they made of foamcore, or something else?

  4. Scratch building is more impressive than buying pre-made stuff anyway. These look good. Are the tile roofs made from sheet styrene?

  5. @ John: Unfortunately, I haven't yet reached the level of making the roofs removable. I hope to get there in the future!

@GEM: I've seen the windmill my friend, and I think it is a great piece for any project!! I hope I am not causing any trouble to your effort in the market! This is clearly not my intention!! :-)

@Easternfunker: Walls and chimneys are from foamcore (with some wall filler on them), roofs are Wills slates, Windows are from Auhagen (#43648) and drainpipes are from Wills also.

@Andrew: The tile roofs are made from 00 Gauge Wills sheets (I found them in www.gaugemaster.com)

@Everyone: Thank you all for your kind words!!! Your level of acting is impressive!!! :-)

  7. @Greek_Geek: For the moment I am only collecting and painting figures and make some terrain pieces. Up to now, I haven't played any wargame with other people. I know a place here (Wargames club) in Athens, but I didn't have the time to visit it and see what kind of games they play. Ellinas eisai?

  8. Nai... I'm trying to accumulate some WWII skirmish/platoon level figs as well but I have too many projects going on at the same time. Have you tried freewargamesrules.co.uk? They have some good skirmish stuff (Lionel Tar rules and Hit the Dirt being prime among them). The wargames club is OK, but the range of games played is small. I have some friends there and a lot of Flames of War goes on and some home-brewed stuff. Where in Athens do you live?

  9. Hey Thanos don't worry about that. I wasn't thinking on that and your scratchbuilding is very good. Keep it up. Cheers
