Good day and good week to everyone!
Today I decided to show you some pics of a building that I made for my Normandy 1944 terrain. I have came up with this building, based on various pics that I have collected through the net (Modellers and Historical Photos).
It is a scratch build terrain piece (if we exclude the window frames and the doors and the slates that are Wills OO Gauge pieces).
The building is made from 0.5cm foam core, and after its gluing with PVA Glue and pins on the corners to keep it steady, it has been covered with simple wall filler, that we use for our houses' walls. It has then been painted with simple acrylic paints.
The windows are Wills windows, glued on a piece of blue painted card (I wanted to represent glass, but the painting is rather mediocre. . . ).
It has been glued on a piece of plastic, and has been covered with Static Grass.
Hope you like it!
Nice windows! love to see some wel done painted windows. Mine always look like crap :p
ReplyDeleteGreets,
very nice. One sugestion if you dont want to paint windows a get a more accurate look try clear sheet, like glass but put some painted paper tissue behind. That will create the ilusion of a curtain.
