My photo
Being a modeller for quite a few years now, I decided to explore the endless possibilities that the world (through internet) offers, and come up with a series of ways of building, modelling and painting fast (but not hastily), to create the worlds I was seeing in history books since I was little. . .If you care to join me. . . This is the place to be! And, I promise you to find the way (or ways)!!

German with Winter Clothes

Good day and good week to everyone!!

Today I decided to post some photos of the figures I painted last Saturday.
These are the Germans in Winter Clothes. They are a mix of different manufacturers' figures (mostly Caesar's though).

This time I used the new Vallejo washes range (Pale Wash - Grey coloured - Ideal for white coloured clothes)!

You simply apply it after the first coat of white, you let it dry and then with a simple drybrush you get the below shown effect. Simple as it sounds!

The whole lot took me about 3 hours to paint (with the anticipation of letting the washes dry - :-) )
Hope you like them!

Enjoy!!!

1.Trousers: US Field Drab (VJ)
2.Jacket: Khaki (VJ)
3.Belts & Pouches: Green Grey (VJ)
4.Flesh: Tallarn Flesh (GW)
5.The rest of the colours can be a mix of browns, blacks and so on. . .

Enjoy!

Gamecraft Barns & Stables

Good day to everyone!

This is some buildings that I bought recently from Gamecraft Miniatures (US).

They are very good models, they come clean without any flush, with crisp detail and lots of components in order to achieve the look you want in any model.

I have painted them in earth tones (grey was too dark for me).

I am planning to use them in my Normandy battlefield, that I am currently making. Do you think they will suit the case?

Hope you like them!

Enjoy!!

Pegasus Russian Infantry Winter Clothing

These are a few photos of my ''Red Comrades'' dressed in their Telogreikas.

The Telogreika was particularly effective at keeping the wearer warm in the harsh Russian Winter. When worn with valenki (winter footwear) and an ushanka (fur cap) the wearer could comfortably remain warm in sub-zero temperatures for long periods. This made it the perfect uniform for the Red Army during their so-called ''Great Patriotic War''.

Enjoy!!
